Role PurposeThe Senior Account Representative is part of the EMEA Commercial Operations organization and provides commercial sales support to the Region's sales organization. In this newly created position, the Senior Account Representative is responsible for driving the growth of Rockwell Automation's portfolio of Products, Software, Services for an assigned set of accounts and following up with new customer leads from the business development unit.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a solid approach to the sales process with creativity and visionBuild customer relationships, gaining commitment, and ensuring all customer requirements are metDevelop and execute a Sales Strategy to drive opportunities to closure, meeting or exceeding individual targetsProvide engagement orders to support demand and work with the resourcing team for appropriate resourcesComply with company processes and tools for recording, tracking opportunities, and reporting progressManage new business and installed base opportunities following Rockwell's proceduresRun promotions & Campaigns to build a sustainable PipelineAchieve sales growth targetsQualify BDR leads effectively and drive them to closureSkills, Knowledge, Experience, and EducationBachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, business, sales, engineering, or operations) OR 4+ years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum 5+ years in digital, inside, and/or software SalesExperience with CRM (Dynamics CRM a plus)Experience in research and discovery to find the right contacts and customersExperience selling software solutions virtuallyEffective communication and execution of sales strategies using digital/social media platformsExceptional project management, communication, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to record sales pursuits efficiently in a CRM systemAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExperience with sales/marketing automation systems and analytics toolsKnowledge of industrial automation business and related product and service offerings is a plusTemperamentHighly motivatedAgile worker independently and collaborativelyStress resistantChange AgileInformation Processing CapabilityMultiple customersKnowledge of Rockwell Automation PortfolioMultiple CampaignsRole RequirementsAbility to travel greater than 10% of the timeSelling activities over the phoneKey Performance MetricsSales generated through support to Account ManagersSales generated through individually generated opportunities
