Your new role
As our IAM Technical Lead, you will be a vital part of our Central IT team, working alongside our Group Information Security team and overseeing our Identity and Access Management platforms and roadmap. Being our first IAM Technical Lead, we're looking for you to shape our thinking and approach in this space. With ranging responsibilities, which will affect our customers as well as our colleagues and Products, this is a pivotal role for Digital Science as we continue to grow and evolve. Working closely with the Product Development and Information Security teams, the first programme of work will be to define, design and embed an IAM solution for our customers, adding value to our global customer base, through delivering a centralised Customer Identity and Access Management service. What you'll be doing
Work with the stakeholders from across the group and third-party vendors/partners, to embed and enhance the Identity and Access Management platform(s) and roadmap starting from a Customer perspective.
Introduce and lead the IAM community of practice, promoting best-practice for implementation and operation of IAM services and platforms.
Champion solutions to IAM challenges and opportunities for Digital Science products.
Support vendors, partners and Product teams with the implementation and testing of solutions.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to the IAM service(s).
Collaborate with the wider organisation and the Group IT and Security teams to support business representatives in embedding and improving their compliance, auditability and operations.
Act as a strategic advisor to internal Product CTOs, the Group CISO and Group CTO.
What you'll bring to the role
You have significant, expert, professional experience in (C)IAM/Information Security as an engineer and solution architect.
You have experience in implementing IAM solutions for external customers, as well as internal staff.
You have in-depth knowledge and understanding of identity technologies, strategy and operations (including SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, administration and access best-practice and management standards).
You are a keen "horizon scanner", maintaining industry knowledge, techniques, vulnerabilities and potential tooling to cement your position in the field.
