Role: Senior DBA SQL
About the profile: The company is growing rapidly and we are now looking for a Senior SQL Technical Specialist to join our team of professionals. For this role, you must have at least 3 years of MS SQL database administration, both on-premises and AzureSQL.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for a DBs consolidation project
Responsible for Data Base administration
Supervision of SQL technical profiles
Communication with the customer, other technical leads and teams
Requirements:
At least three (3) years of experience managing MS SQL Databases - both on Premise and AzureSQL.
Excellent skills in SQL.
Deep understanding of Backup & Restore techniques, On-Prem and AzureSQL.
Deep understanding of SQL Database migration mechanisms.
Good understanding of HA mechanisms with SQL Server: Always On Availability Groups and Clusters.
Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting: SQL Server Profiler, Database Advisor.
Nice to have:
Certifications: DP-300, DP-203.
Experience with data-focused solutions in Azure: Synapse, Databricks.
Experience with Streaming technologies, e.g. EventHub.
Experience with Data Virtualization technologies, e.g. Denodo or Tibco Data Virtualization.
Languages: English B2 minimum (fluent), Spanish working proficiency.
