Our client, a Workers' Compensation law firm, is currently in search of Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a remote position. The Attorney will manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.

Primary Responsibilities:Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers and self-insured employersPrepare correspondence to clientsDraft pleadingsAttend court appearancesManage calendarConduct depositions and cross-examinations of doctorsNegotiate settlements on workers' compensation filesNegotiate lien claimsProactive case managementMentor and manage legal assistantEstablish relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendorsAttend marketing events with new and existing clientsReview and work on files, enter time into billing softwareInput case information into PracticeMasterMeet deadlines for client correspondenceAttend client file reviewsConduct training seminars for clients on changing workers' compensation case lawUnderstand/maintain current knowledge of workers' compensation case lawAll other duties or tasks, as neededQualifications:1 year of Workers' Compensation Law experienceLicensed to practice in CAMust be located in CAMust have recent Workers' Compensation experience
