Job DescriptionWhat you'll do
We are looking for a Kitchen Coordinator to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Director of Culinary, you will:
Keep up to date all HACCP protocols, being the person in charge for the Chefs to ensure their compliance.Coordinate the cost recipe forms database of all outlets.Assemble the full range of schedule for all kitchen operation, keeping accurate record of Holidays and statutory days.Work closely with the HR department to provide extra staff requirements and keep the factorial program updated on check in and out of the staff.Be the point of contact for our outsourcing company of health and safety and work closely with them in the monthly audits.Update the team on any change in legislation involved in any kitchen operation.Supervise our well-organized storerooms and inventories that allow for a smooth-running kitchen.Propose changes on the equipment and keep updated any status on repairs with external suppliers.QualificationsWhat we are looking for... Expert in office package, with emphasis on Excel.Very well organized and with methodical thinking.You value learning and development and are looking to join a hard-working team, aiming to make the best food out there.Previous experience as health and safety assistant is an advantage.You're all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.You make people feel good - your team, guests and colleagues alike.Methodical and process-driven approach to tasks, but also able to work flexibly and calmly to meet deadlines.Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.Ability to work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of delivery at work.You're not precious.
