Overview: Senior Account Director/Group Account Director Reporting to: Chief Client Officer
Location: CDM Barcelona
Role Focus: Lead international business from CDM Barcelona as part of the International Client Services team. CDM Barcelona is part of the Omnicom Health Group and is the largest, fastest growing international healthcare advertising agency in Europe.

You're a senior member of the client services team with vast experience in creative advertising agencies and cultivating global brands. You've led and nurtured a client services team, motivated multidisciplinary agency teams, and managed client teams.
Additional experience in healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory, as health and wellbeing is our day-to-day focus. We're looking for someone who can easily integrate into the multicultural dynamics of our expanding international agency team in the beautiful, sunny city of Barcelona! You're passionate about health, creativity, and digital, and about the role our work can play in promoting strong, well-informed decisions around health issues for all audiences. You enjoy working collaboratively and can communicate convincingly. You're confident leading and providing strategic direction but equally happy to roll up your sleeves and help do the work. You thrive in a close team environment, working with and through others to solve business challenges. Always seeking solutions that work for all parties, you'll use your experience and social understanding to influence both internally and externally. You'll also believe in the importance of making work fun—after all, it's advertising, right? If we're not having fun, we're not doing it right.
Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Lead contact for a large portfolio of global clients and brands Strong understanding of strategic thinking including brand, digital, and communications planning Ability to lead strategic workstreams including the preparation and facilitation of client workshops High emotional intelligence, able to read a room and adapt communication for different audiences Native English communication skills Convey ideas and information effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing, in individual and group situations Commercial: Understanding of the commercial side of an agency and how we make money, with the ability to develop detailed and sizable omnichannel SOWs Managing a significant annual revenue target and supporting your team to deliver against your target each month, contributing to the agency's annual profitability Growing the value of your portfolio through organic opportunities including proactive and value-add services Leading new business pitches with the support of the agency team to drive agency growth in innovative areas Agency: Working autonomously with your client services team to deliver omnichannel global campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints Supporting the Chief Client Officer as needed, especially on new business and strategic projects Formal and informal mentor to more junior members of the team Skills & Experience:
- Creative agency experience: 10-15 years
- Healthcare experience extremely beneficial but not mandatory
- Line management responsibilities for a large client services team
- Leading clients at a global level across various time zones
- Evidence of working across creative, digital, and production disciplines
- Travel may be required (travel restrictions will be adhered to)
- Native English is essential due to the international nature of the business
