Come be part of the new team that delivers ground-breaking products for our clients.DEPARTMENT: Product Engineering-Operational ReadinessREPORTING TO: Group Leader - Technical Publications - SMTS 3LOCATION: Madrid, SpainRESPONSIBILITIES:Create and review content to support end users, IPC technicians and partners:Using a topic-based DITA tool chainResearching product management and development documentsIllustrate technical documentation with photographs, drawings, diagrams, and screenshots as needed.Test and update procedural material against developing versions of the product.Review and revise draft documents with input from developers and other stakeholders.Understand revision control and content management to coordinate work with multiple other writers.Produce deliverables in multiple formats (PDF, Help, EPUBS, etc.) for multiple audiences.Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications:Four-year degree in a related field (communications, English, computer science, engineering).5+ years of technical writing experience in a development environment, documenting products that include both hardware and software components.Demonstrated excellence in writing clear and concise copy for multiple audiences on highly technical topics.Familiarity and comfort with the dynamic nature of an Agile development process.Significant experience (> 2 years) creating content using an XML editing tool such as XMetaL or oXygen XML Editor or equivalent.Significant experience producing documentation in a structured environment that includes a content management system and multiple delivery outputs.Knowledge of the following:Server hardware, firmware and softwareLinux and Windows operating systems and system administrationTelephony, including VoIPNetwork hardware and softwareFlexible and independent with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams in geographically dispersed locations.What's in It for You?At IPC, your compensation is only part of the package.#J-18808-Ljbffr
