As a Key Account Manager Travel Spain (m/f/d) , you will be responsible for acquiring and supporting tourism vendors in the Spanish market. Your extensive experience in account management will enable you to maintain existing national and international customer relationships in a structured and analytical manner. Your sales background in the hotel or tourism industry will be invaluable in acquiring new partners specifically for the Spanish market. Additionally, you will be responsible for content management and planning advertising activities for your accounts. You will also contribute to the further development of the European platform in our travel segment.
Responsibilities: Acquisition of new customers, including presentation, negotiation, and closing deals with tourism target customers, with a focus on the hotel and leisure industry for the Spanish market.
Strategic and operational support for Spanish key accounts.
Scaling customers to our international source markets.
Content maintenance of offers in our internal CMS.
Planning and creation of customer campaigns.
Conducting market and customer analyses for the Spanish market.
Implementation of strategies, including success monitoring.
Documentation of sales activities and maintenance of our CRM system.
Qualifications: Several years of professional experience in tourism key account management.
Extensive experience, strong negotiation skills, and a keen interest in acquiring new customers.
Additional experience in purchasing within the hotel, OTA, travel agency, tour operator, airline, or related industries.
In-depth industry knowledge in the hotel/leisure and tourism sectors.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Independent, structured, and autonomous work style.
High level of performance, initiative, resilience, and flexibility.
Excellent teamwork, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of technical and business contexts.
Business fluency in written and spoken Spanish, English, and German; additional language skills are desirable.
