About this jobIn this demanding and fast-paced environment, we are looking for an Account Manager who will work for a line of business we are very proud of: Retail Market Insights.
At Market Insights, we help our clients to understand the dynamics of their marketplace.
Up-to-date retail sales data reveal how products are performing in the market - ongoing.
In order to get timely, quality & relevant data, we need you to make the difference in recruiting our retail partners.

By joining our team that works with the top players in the industry, you will add value to our design research and solve real business problems.
You will be responsible for making significant contributions to proposals and delivering actionable insights to clients.
ResponsibilitiesCreate, maintain and develop an excellent relationship with key players in the industry and C-level executives.Prepare & present proposals for retailers and contract negotiations.Continuously upsell add-on services (dashboards, countries/regions, frequency, etc.
).Be GfK's main representative in the industries we want to develop, sustain, and grow GfK's presence with the retail partner base.Manage overall client relationship with GfK, liaising with internal departments to provide a retail partner-centric experience.Consult with retail partners about how to leverage the power of GfK's insights to best support their business.Ensure maximum communication with the other internal GfK departments.Build relationships that will support the growth needed for GfK's business.QualificationsTypically, 2-5 years of work-related experience.Sales skills and expertise in target scope.Essential understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers.University degree in either Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or in a related field.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a dynamic and adaptive personality and a can-do attitude.Fluent in English and Spanish.Good numerical skills with attention to detail.Storytelling ability and presentation skills.Affinity with market data analysis, interpretation, and recommendations.Software skills / MS Office / CRM Management.Our BenefitsAn adventure of challenges and the opportunity to further develop your talents and build your career.A salary package that includes a 14th month, meal vouchers and/or transportation allowance and/or health insurance.A young and dynamic team built on passion, relevance, trust, and smart solutions.At GfK, we work with a flexible working approach, including dividing our time between office & remote working.Flexible working hours from 8-9 a.m. to 5.30-6.30 p.m. and intensive working hours on Fridays and during the summer months.We are an ethical and honest company that is wholly committed to its clients and employees.
