Join our dynamic Business Development team as a Key Account Manager, where you'll collaborate with the Head of Business Development (and our Insurance Business Partner) to shape and execute our strategic goals.This role will see you drive business development, managing a portfolio of key insurance accounts, and working alongside our Client Relationship Partners (CRPs) and Account Managers (AMs). You will also work closely with our Marketing team to collaborate on key campaigns to cement our profile as the leading insurance lawyers to the global insurance market.If you're looking to be market-facing, and develop networks and opportunities, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Head of BD to drive the key client programme, embedding a culture of sales and identifying opportunities in sectors, markets and products.Partner with CRPs and CRM teams to achieve revenue targets and manage account budgets, planning and attending client relationship meetings with CRPs where appropriate.Develop and implement client plans, working with legal teams to develop and sell new products/services.Build and leverage a personal network to create market-facing opportunities and to share market insight and client intelligence.Collaborate with Marketing to promote campaigns and products that meet client needs.Share best practices and engage stakeholders to support BD initiatives.Utilise CRM tools to manage client accounts and sales pipeline growth, facilitating client development workshops to identify opportunities and drive CRM activity.Analyse key client and prospect data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Develop sales tools to enhance client conversations and cross-sell key products/services.Assist in the development and delivery of Sales and BD training programmes, and deliver client development workshops.Coach senior stakeholders in client management and leverage feedback from Client Listening to strengthen relationships.Key Requirements:Experience working in insurance/professional services and/or selling legal services, with strong client development and account management skills.Proven track record of driving client growth strategies and generating market opportunities.Strong understanding of the market and its influencers and a track record of using this knowledge to generate growth opportunities.Ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders, building strong relationships across all levels of lawyers.Strong networking and relationship-building skills to connect the right people to opportunities.Project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex projects to tight deadlines.Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and within virtual teams.Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to manipulate data and generate insights, as well as a strong thirst for technical knowledge to generate ideas.Experience implementing change programs and delivering business development training.Proven experience of implementing best practice and initiatives for continuous improvement.About DAC BeachcroftWe're a leading international legal business with over 3,000 colleagues and a diverse range of capabilities.
