Here at RS Iberia, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join a sales team which is focussed on enabling our customers to maintain and improve their operations, win and protect business, and contribute to the development our company.

Here is more about what you will be doing...

Spending a sizeable part of your time 'on the road', you will be the key point of contact for our customers within the assigned portfolio. These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a wealth of different industries and backgrounds. We will look to you work closely with these customers to develop repeat business, protect, and grow existing revenue, as well as safeguard profit margins, and in order to this you will need to:

Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolioProducing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targetsBuilding a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitorsMaintaining and upkeep accurate customer recordsBuilding coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity? You will have experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targetsSomeone who takes a solution-led consultative approach to their workYou possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planningYou are an excellent relationship builderStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPossessing the ability and wiliness to embrace changeAny Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!And of course - a driving licence is essential!
