.Overview:Position Profile:Brief Description: The role of the Key Account Manager (KAM) is to maximise the full sales potential of the product portfolio on a defined territory, achieving sales and related performance targets (as defined by the management team) and to demonstrate a strong commitment to the business unit strategy and direction. This will be achieved through coordination of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate patients have access to Jazz Pharmaceuticals Haematology products. Developing professional working partnerships with those stakeholders to positively influence sales potential, future guidelines, funding, positioning of products and ensure effective implementation of peer to peer/advocacy programs. The KAM will take full accountability for the preparation and execution of strong territory business & key account management plans as agreed with the management team, fully utilizing agreed processes and procedures requiring close collaboration with all Jazz personnel who are customer facing (including the relevant office-based staff). The KAM is familiar with principles of health economics and the clinical implications. Proactively identifies business opportunities and supports appropriate pull-through and understands current state and evolving landscape of integrated payers in the territory. This will require a hybrid approach whereby the KAM will need to be able to use a multi and omni-channel approach to achieve goals in terms of activity and sales targets, coupled with face-to-face and meeting activity.Essential Functions:Ensure access of Jazz medicines to the right patients in the assigned territory/accounts.Deliver sales and related objectives against territory targets and contribute to national and team targets.Develop a partnership relationship with KOLs and stakeholders by being an expert in the Jazz Pharmaceuticals Haematology products & relevant disease areas as well as local and national healthcare policy as appropriate.Build customer networks that enable the rapid identification, diagnosis and treatment of patients.Remove local prescribing barriers by helping priority accounts with solutions to local service limitations.Have deep knowledge of the decision-making process to gain access for Jazz Pharmaceuticals Haem Onc products in the accounts, identifying key customers & stakeholders and understanding their perspective on Jazz Pharmaceuticals medicines and competitors.Understand the healthcare environment and its unmet and evolving needs within the therapeutic area.High level of scientific/clinical knowledge to provide disease & therapeutic solutions to HCP key decision makers and other stakeholders. The KAM demonstrates knowledge of Haem Onc standards of care and emerging clinical trends anticipating customer needs
