YOUR CHALLENGEAs Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the upstream sales of our company. This position will be based in Madrid or Zaragoza (Spain), with lots of travel through the country. You will report to the Business Development Manager of Iberia.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESBy hunting new customers, you create a strong acceleration on the growth of the Iberia region.You proactively research the market for opportunities mainly in the food industry and build long-term relations with your (new) customers.You function as an expert in order to understand your customers and help them achieve their supply chain needs.You visit your prospects and customers regularly (approx. 70% of the time) and support them to keep them aligned with their contract.You are responsible for the profitability of new and existing contracts which you will follow up with regular evaluations of contractual parameters. YOUR PROFILEAt least 5 years of sales experience in a B2B environment within logistics and supply chain.A natural born hunter with a winners-mentality.Strong communication skills and an excellent knowledge of Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.A professional and strong personality with the power to influence, convince and connect.Self-motivated and able to work independently while regularly checking in with your team.Very well organized and excellent time management skills.Motivated to understand and solve customer challenges as a part of a European team that makes a tangible difference in logistics.You will be working from your home office, which will be preferably in the Madrid area.
