How will your role help us transform hope into reality? The Key Account & Access Manager is a field-based expert responsible for both local and regional market access and commercial success of our medicines. The KAAM is responsible for account planning and management, regional and local market access, scientific information, and managing relationships with healthcare providers, including hematologists, oncologists, pathologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, allergists/immunologists, pharmacists, and regional and local payers, in academic and community practices.
The KAAM will engage in high quality scientific exchange about the clinical application of our precision medicines to various external stakeholders, as well as obtain important insights about accounts' current practices and treatment landscapes. In addition, the KAAM is expected to build strong cross-functional relationships and provide meaningful subject-matter expertise to colleagues in Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Patient Advocacy, while maintaining compliance with all relevant company, industry, legal, and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Country Commercial Lead and will be responsible for the territory of mid-Spain.
What will you do? Drive account stakeholder relationships; develop and monitor long-term relationships between Blueprint Medicines, the account, and its key stakeholders.Execute local market access plans at regional and hospital levels, working closely with the Market Access Team.Design strategy for and be accountable for key accounts, developing and executing concrete action plans.Responsible for driving and achieving business objectives of new product launches and in-market assets.Implement programs to support the journey of patients and improve the treatment of this disease and/or the patient journey.Follow up on relevant matters concerning delivery, tenders, cash collection, and all administrative tasks related to local access and order fulfillment.Lead and develop local strategic customer relationships and bring products to launch within compliance and legal requirements.Develop and execute projects initiated by relevant team members to support their customers, resulting in better and more efficient treatment outcomes.Proactively share insights and best practices within the Spanish team and the INT region.Identify key external stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their needs, collaborating on initiatives to co-create mutually beneficial solutions.Support and advise Healthcare professionals on the correct use of BPM product and services portfolio.Proactively coordinate collaboration with medical affairs and market access to ensure alignment in objectives and activities.Monitor account plan progress and hold self-accountable for prioritized plans execution.Lead core account team meetings and present account plans and progress at relevant local meetings with management.Prioritize and manage accounts by assessing appropriate business opportunities through contacts with key decision-makers.Systematically analyze success of plans (e.g., sales, market developments) and propose mitigating actions as needed.What minimum qualifications do we require? Bachelor's or master's degree in scientific disciplines.Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?
