The Project Controls Manager is an integral role in project teams during all phases of project development and delivery. The Project Controls Manager is involved in assurance activities and provides services to asset owners in relation to portfolio planning and management.You will be in charge of:Manage and coordinate Project Controller activities in projects and across portfolio, being run by the regional Project Delivery unit.Facilitate risk management processes, document and co-ordinate risks associated with projects being run by the regional Project Delivery unit.Coordinate Project Controls (Schedule & Cost) according to Statkraft requirements and current best practices within the region.Ensure established principles and processes are followed by project teams (internal & external supporting team members).Recommend corrective action to Project Managers and the wider project team from analysis by Controls Function within teams.Influence, with Project Managers, effective Senior Management decision-making based on objective analysis of information.Contribute to the corporate Project Controls centre of excellence, by building expertise, sharing best practices and support training for relevant processes and tools.Handle reporting and closing activities: Month-end closing, project reporting, Project-end closing, final assessment, and compile lessons learned.Liaise with Finance team to ensure consistent reporting and forecasting.Audit and review Project Controls and Risk Management in projects.Support in the development of Project Portfolio tools for the region.QualificationsMaster's degree in engineering, or related field with experience in the field.Project controls experience (+8 years) from large, complex, international investment projects.Clear affinity with renewables and ideally relevant/significant working experience in the renewable energy industry.Good knowledge of relevant systems and tools including Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project / Project Online and SAP is an advantage.
