Manager, IS & DT CoE Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES In the role of Subject Matter Expert, within the SAP COE part of the Information Management Organization, reporting to the SAP CoE Solution Architect, he / she will be responsible for delivering the appropriate SAP solution for his / her areas of expertise to the appropriate project, being also the go-to person within their region for second level support.
Main Responsibilities: Participation in SAP project implementationsProvide subject matter expertise and assistance in developing requirements for SAP projectsCapture and anticipate new Global and/or Local Business requirementsLead review meetings with the Global Process Owner(s) to ensure regular communication and alignment/approval of documentation on the progress of the projectSupport the execution of projects and changes in the siteLead Key users and Local Process Owners to achieve the objectives of the project, providing support in SAP as a top priority in the current implementationProvide process knowledge supportWork with Business Facing teams to improve processes through the use of SAP capabilitiesMaintain knowledge on product direction and future offerings of SAPCoordinate activities and share knowledge with counterparts in other regionsAssist SAP Application support COE with troubleshootingWork with 2nd level support to develop processes for troubleshooting and escalationIdentify change management projects with the Key Users and Local Process OwnersLead implementation and SAP configuration of the recommended solutionMaintenance lead for local applications MAIN REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS (THE IDEAL FIT) Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalentSAP certification for the appropriate modules (PP-QM-WM)Minimum of 5 years experience implementing SAP projects working on the appropriate modulesProficient in SAP ERP management, with knowledge in current release ECC 6.0S4HANA experience would be beneficialIn-depth experience implementing applicationsProject management expertise, PMI certification is a plusKnowledge of data conversion tools like LSMW, WinshuttleDeep understanding of business and technical processesEnglish fluency, other languages appreciatedExperience in Mass Market / Cosmetics business is a plusGlobal visionAnalytical / Executive and decision makingResult focusedCustomer orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeamwork skillsOpenness to look at alternative solutions and ways to improveAbility to work under pressureDetail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlinesDemonstrated ability to translate/communicate complex concepts to peers and business partnersDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring at onceDemonstrated ability to leverage and mentor others through technical team leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience training and mentoring othersMinimum of 3 years leading IT projects for the business function being supportedLeadership and convincing influencer
