We have high ambitions to deliver a new IT strategy over the next 3 years, and in order to support the changes this activity will bring, we require support to coordinate project and programme activity.
Scope The role will support the IT Leadership Team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects through newly implemented governance and demand management processes, and ensure projects' financials and risks are tracked and reported.
The role will also support the CIO with administrative duties such as event management and travel arrangements where required.
RESPONSIBILITIES Invoice tracking and seeking approval Financial reporting of month-end actual vs planned spend Arranging large scale meetings/events Maintaining organisation charts and coordinating recruitment activities with resource suppliers Coordinating service reviews with suppliers Production of slide decks for various stakeholder audiences Ensuring the programme risk and issue log is kept up to date Supporting project managers through a newly defined Gate process, ensuring project templates are kept up to date and available in a shared location Coordinating the demand management process for the Group Delivery Director for future changes Creating Word/PowerPoint templates for project managers Maintenance of leave/resource availability for projects ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Experience of coordinating financial processes and invoice management Demonstrable experience within PMOs Solid understanding of Project Management techniques and methodologies Good communication and presentation skills Data analysis and production of management information Diary management Resource tracking Oral communication skills Hands-on Problem analysis & solving Activity coordination Adaptability Team interaction Learning skills Language skills English Fluent; Spanish, French or any other European language, a plus.
