Responsibilities:
Maintain an effective internal control environment in accordance with SAICA Compliance policies, including Equal Opportunities, Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety guidelines, as well as tax, labour, and accounting regulations.
Ensure all accounting practices are prepared on a timely basis and reported in accordance with local and SAICA requirements.
Monitor month-end closure, budget control, and action plans.
Complete the Monthly Reporting and presentation to Management.
Ensure the reliability and relevance of the reporting.
Define indicators for monitoring activity and monitor their implementation.
Analyse and interpret financial data and make recommendations to management to improve systems and financial performance.
Support the preparation of annual budgets, control the Annual Investment Plan, and carry out investment profitability studies.
Manage company insurance policies.
Follow up on customer risks.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Lead or participate in special projects as needed, supporting Plant controllers.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification: Just graduated in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.
Experience: Maximum of two years working experience since graduation in a similar role.
International experience (Erasmus, etc.) is a plus.
High written and spoken English (C1).
Advanced level in MS Office and expert in MS Excel.
