Through a passion for games, Sandsoft Games aims at bringing closer continents, cultures, and people.Position: Senior Accounting ManagerLocation: This role can be based in Barcelona, Spain or Riyadh, KSA.What you will do:Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation.Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies, including the review and implementation of process and system changes.Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.Participate in strategic financial projects, including upgrades and implementation of ERP software.Ensure compliance with internal control policies.Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.Interact at all levels with budget owners and other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through the annual report.Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in the chart of accounts, accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements, and ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions.Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and study regulations and guidance to ensure the correct application of IFRS.Oversee month-end reporting, including trial balance, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, and consolidation of all legal entities to produce the three financial statements (PL, BS, CF) and provide comments on BS and CF variations (indirect method for CF).Manage the payroll process.Make recommendations for changes as needed, ensure that company policies and procedures are followed, and establish the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud.Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses.Assist with the compilation of information for the preparation of tax returns.Work with the Audit, Tax, and Treasury Manager to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through the annual report.Prepare summary feedback on financial statement variances to budget.
