Role purpose: The performance area is taking a bigger and broader role in a changing environment where having an end-to-end view of the different components is key to ensure a differentiated customer experience. While having a deep expertise of the overall Data Core area is obviously a must, we are particularly looking for a very experienced individual that can respond to the need of seeing the network E2E as a whole and having experience in its different domains. We want to welcome someone that also understands the evolution of the network to the cloud platforms and will be very comfortable in that environment.
Finally, we feel it is essential that our new colleague will be confident in data analytics in order to extract the most of the information we have.
Key accountabilities: Reading and understanding CSX (Customer Service eXperience) and CCX (Customer Commercial eXperience).Maximise CSX/CCX.Defining and advocating both the performance standards and the network needs:Deep knowledge of performance management in mobile data networks, especially including exposure to performance optimisation activities concerning end-to-end services and architectures.Good knowledge of the evolution of the Core Network into the virtualised, cloud/containers and network as a platform world. Strong willingness to be involved and develop in this area.Very good level of confidence in data analytics in order to extract the most of the information we have in the centralised datalakes.Ability to perform a collaborative role towards other data core engineering teams to assure a permanent and strong focus on customer experience in all data core programmes, as well as a collaborative role supporting those teams in the implementation of optimisation activities and initiatives.Very strong and proven customer orientation, supporting the definition and implementation of the data core strategy but always ensuring the customer experience is at the centre of it, in particular when new systems, vendors or architectures are deployed.Promote a 'country-agnostic' perspective in what concerns performance aligning service performance metrics with the best in class in Europe and investigating and reporting reasons for deviations elsewhere.Able to create a continuous customer QoE improvement plan, beyond regular performance monitoring/reporting, assuring that this plan is considered and incorporated in the global roadmap for Data Core in Europe networks. What you bring:Degree in telecommunications or similar, with 5+ years of experience.Very strong end-to-end data service performance engineering experience.Good knowledge of the evolution of the Core Network into the virtualised, cloud/containers and network as a platform world.Solid knowledge of NW design / architecture and CORE NW experience.Very good knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques.Ideally operational experience.Results oriented and strong performance & customer orientation.Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results/change.Good stakeholders management and established networking or closeness with other engineering domains, also deeply impacting performance such as transmission, radio, etc.
