Summary: You will be responsible for prioritizing and making decisions for the execution of the projects and providing the team with the tools and methodology to effectively execute their missions.
You will work with the project team to plan, track, and manage all projects/programs utilizing standard methodology, risk assessment, and solid communication practices.
You will collaborate with internal business partners to ensure efficient end-to-end business processes and successful relationships.
You'll oversee and validate the quality of processes, standard procedures, quality audits/review, communication practices, process re-engineering, consistency of the processes documents, communication methods, and distribution of information.
You'll seek out and be aware of changes in standards and their application methodologies.
You'll facilitate effective change management and provide a means for continuous process improvement through the use of standard methodologies.
You'll propose organization and process improvements based on international standards and industry best practices.
Education Requirements: University Degree in Chemical Engineering (must have) PMBOK experience is an asset Responsibilities & Required Experience: Direct and manage project delivery including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, estimating and controlling project duration, effort, and cost, creating detailed project plans and managing change requests.
Ensure all deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
Drive an attitude within project teams to deliver solutions, resolving issues and risks as they arise, while managing a diverse project team.
Mentor team members and review performance of direct reports.
Drive the requirements and analysis phase of the project by reviewing requirements documents, facilitating solution evaluation process, and managing RFP process where required.
Work with clients, vendors, and managers/supervisors, directing and developing project charters, project plans, cost estimates, business cases, steering committee presentations, and other documentation supporting the requirements phase of the project.
Drive day-to-day project activities through the application of sound project management principles and methodologies.
Develop and maintain a detailed status, activities, and issues report on each project to present to Management and major project stakeholders.
