Job DescriptionWe are looking to strengthen our IT team based in Barcelona, Spain.
What you can look forward to as a Data and AI Engineer:
Developing ideas in the areas of data marketplace, data science, data analytics, AI and machine learning in coordination with other departments; creating scalable Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions using complex data pipelines.Conception, implementation and rollout of IT applications and data products, creation of IT architecture concepts and merging of division-wide applications as part of the integration of mergers & acquisitions.Advising the Aftermarket division business partners regarding the optimization of Aftermarket financial, commercial, and operational business processes via data engineering solutions.Participation in divisional IT projects in a global environment.Monitoring data pipelines and data quality, responding to incidents, and implementing processes to improve IT process efficiency.Your profile as a Data and AI Engineer:Successfully completed studies in computer science / business informatics or comparable, with fundamental knowledge of data warehousing, data science, big data analytics and AI technologies, processes, and methods.Suitable experience in data warehousing, data science, (big data) analytics, artificial intelligence, application development, machine learning.Profound knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R including associated data & analytics frameworks/libraries and analytics tools and technology, particularly Microsoft Azure, MS Synapse, Databricks, MS Power BI, M-Query, MS ADF and MS SQL (Knowledge of SAP Analytics or KNIME also beneficial).Engineering knowledge of developing batch (and API-driven) integrations to transfer data in bulk between enterprise applications, on-premise and cloud-based.Passion for data, constant learning and applying your skills and new technology to bring value to our business partners, familiarity with agile software development, highly motivated with an open personality, strong interpersonal and analytic skills, and systematic working methods.Why you should choose ZF in Barcelona?Work-Life Balance: Flexible hours and a modern office environment in Barcelona.Career Growth: Continuous learning and mentoring programs.Collaborative Culture: Emphasis on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
