For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:Workshops Demand Planner PurchasingWhat you will doThis Demand Planning position is responsible for forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The person selected will create and maintain forecast models for the product line and customers by incorporating business intelligence from sales, marketing and finance. This role is the key liaison between Customers, Sales & the internal supply planning team, and will lead the dialogue periodically for their respective customers and products with special relations with Sales and Marketing.How you will do itBaseline forecast generation; run analyses on historical data and "clean" events, collect & agree baseline assumptions with input from commercial teams, run and evaluate statistical forecasting models.Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.Responsible for enriching base forecasts with 'special events' (e.G.; marketing campaigns, etc.) based on inputs from marketing, sales, customer collaboration and customers.Lead monthly demand review with sales and marketing teams, reaching a consensus demand plan.Contribute to improvements to ways of working within the Demand planning and the EU Operations team.Supports the development and maintenance of the sourcing metrics and scorecards, based on analysis of reports and consolidated data. Monitors sourcing KPIs and drives them into actions.Contributes in driving operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective & compliant execution of all related policies and processes. Identifies best business practices via finance / business performance benchmarking and facilitates the implementation of these practices, maximizing its standardization across the region by supporting in creation and implementation of processes (e.G. Playbook).What we are looking forBachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or related.Supply chain master's degree (a plus).Minimum a year of experience in a Demand Planning role.Knowledge of working in SAP environment.Experienced with ERP and Planning Tools
