Our client, a dynamic digital agency in the rapidly expanding iGaming industry, is seeking a talented and driven HR Generalist to join their growing team in Cyprus.
Scope of PositionThe HR Generalist will support and implement a wide range of HR policies, ensuring that the company's HR operations run smoothly. The role involves providing advice and assistance to employees on a variety of HR matters, coordinating employee relations, administering benefits, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with labour laws. The HR Generalist will work closely with management and employees to ensure a positive, productive work environment.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the recruitment and onboarding process, including work permits where required;Coordinate work permit renewal processes;Coordinate payroll;Assist with the administration of staff benefits;Liaise with local authorities and service providers;Ensure compliance with local employment laws;Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices to advise on policy development & necessary changes;Administer & enforce company policies and procedures;Act as first point of contact for employees regarding HR & general office-related inquiries;Escalate any conflicts, employee concerns, and grievances;Promote a positive workplace environment;Support senior managers with performance management and employee development;Maintain up-to-date employee records in BambooHR;Keep inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed;Assist senior management as and when required;Reserve meeting rooms for meetings;Organize events when necessary;Ensure the office is clean and well maintained at all times. Key RelationshipsCustomer Service, VIP, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, Product, Finance, as well as Local Authorities, Service Providers, Vendors.
Decision Making AuthorityEscalate issues to the Head of Human Resources.
RequirementsIdeally minimum 1 year experience in a similar or administrative role;Knowledge of labour laws, employee relations & HR best practices;Knowledge of BambooHR will be considered an asset;Excellent written & verbal skills in English;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Clean & smart appearance;Be a self-motivated and highly organised individual;Possess a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude;Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity;Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications;Loyal and hardworking;Experience working with remote colleagues and managers will be considered an asset.
