This position reports to the Manager, GL Accounting. Assist in the implementation of Oracle Cloud functionality for the purpose of automating and streamlining accounting processes. Prepare monthly journal entries to record accounting activity related to commissions, payroll, inventory, leases and accruals, as needed. Assist with general ledger activity questions for the consolidated and statutory audits as the need arises. Prepare monthly reconciliations related to material general ledger accounts. Complete a monthly fluctuation analysis and provide commentary related to the accounting results for the monthly reporting package. Continue to refine the monthly general ledger accounting process to increase efficiencies and improve controls.
