Our MCF projects require specific and advanced knowledge and skills beyond the standard features of a building. A proactive Lead Mechanical Engineer is what our clients need. They also require consultants and engineers who think along with them and increasingly demand more detailed designs in 3D up to working documentation level. You will be helping them with exactly that.Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Managing and delivering mechanical work packages in multiple projects;Identifying the scope, design, and management objectives and delivering project documentation while ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities;Writing technical specifications and reports;Assisting the project manager in the preparation/review of project costs and risk assessments;Developing and maintaining vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development.You will also review contractor pre-qualifications, prepare tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews, evaluate proposals, and make recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection. Additionally, you will write technical specifications for tenders, represent RHDHV on factory acceptance tests and site testing & commissioning activities, and communicate the status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis.You will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross-border, native, and home-based.
