Overview: As the Product Manager for Network, you will be part of SITA Network product team.
You will manage the global network services within SITA Network portfolio for global ATI (Air Transport Industry) market.What you will doProduct StrategyAnalyse and understand global network market trends and customer needsArticulate and document the network product vision strategy and define the target market in line with market trends, customer needs and SITA strategy.Sales/Channel Strategy and SupportEstablish and implement an effective 'go to market' strategy for the products to include an agreed and executed sales and marketing planSupport bid management processes and pre-sales customer interactionsSupport Salesforces with a clear product value proposition and trainingAct as an escalation point of contact for all commercial activities related to the productsProduct Innovation and DevelopmentThrough an understanding of customer needs the competitive landscape and market trends propose product innovations as well as requirements for enhancements to existing products/servicesDefine product functional requirementsGuide product development project throughout the build/launch process to ensure delivery of the right product to market within the agreed timescalesParticipate in cross-functional teams that ensure the timely/cost-effective and quality delivery of product developments and product performanceContribute to the management of partnerships and supplier relationshipsMonitor and manage the cost structure related to the productProduct Roadmap/ Life Cycle ManagementDevelop and manage the product roadmap throughout the lifecycle from conception to retirementTrack the product(s) PL; revenue new business and profitability including competitive pricing of the product(s) in the marketplace to achieve desired sales volumes/optimized profitPropose product investmentsDrive cost and revenue optimization Lifecycle activitiesProduct Marketing/Value Proposition/Market IntelligenceDefine and develop the product value propositionResponsible for all product marketing activities during the lifetime of the product including the implementation of the product launch plan promotional and collateral support plan and sales support/infrastructure plan to drive the successful acquisition and retention of customersOrganize run and work with user groups and other customer forums to develop customer relationships and influence market thinkingProduct Pricing StrategyDefine a pricing strategy for the product(s) with the support of the central Pricing teamProduct PerformanceResponsible for achieving product financial customer satisfaction and business objectivesResponsible for managing and achieving the expected cost optimization targetsProduct Management PracticeComply with Product Management procedures and best practiceAct as coordinator for those working on the product development stage-gate and product projectsSupplier governanceManage and organize the governance meetings and regular interlocks with the main suppliersParticipate in the supplier steering committees and act as the network team SPOCInternal support to other solution linesSupport the internal solution lines in their sourcing of network servicesEnsure proper recharging mechanisms are appliedQualifications:Who you areStrong knowledge of networking technologies and IT trendsGood knowledge of Product Management Stage-Gate or other product development methodologyA track record of delivering results in Product Management in a global business environment and within a technology solution-based business.Good financial acumenInnovation Skills and a track record in defining market requirements and functional specificationsUnderstanding of the latest trends and innovations within the airline/airport industry and relevant technology areas is a plusCapability of leading and influencing virtual teams within a global and international environmentCapability of presenting clear ideas and seeking stakeholders buy-in across different functions in the companyYou are located in Prague or BarcelonaBachelor's degree level or equivalent in a technical business or marketing discipline is essentialWhat we offerSITA's workplace is all about diversity: many different countries and cultures are represented in our workforce, and colleagues who've been working here for decades collaborate with those just out of college and early in their careers.
