Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative services. Meta is seeking an experienced, organized and self-motivated individual to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our growing fleet of data centers in EMEA. In this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta's data center energy strategy, specifically supporting the energy infrastructure arrangements of our data centers through various stages of development including site selection, construction and operations.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the development (including design for permitting) of interconnection and energy supply agreements.Monitoring progress towards key development milestones.Developing processes and building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external partners.Working with our Energy Managers and thinking critically about Meta's data center energy infrastructure in EMEA.Energy Program Manager (EMEA) Responsibilities Support the creation and execution of overarching and site-specific energy supply strategies for Meta's data centers in EMEA.Communicate energy requirements to internal and external stakeholders.Support negotiation of energy infrastructure agreements.Manage the day-to-day details related to project due diligence, site development, construction, commercial agreements, construction power agreements and operational issues.Support commercial negotiations and operations for waste heat recovery projects.Coordinate communication and deliverables between utility partners and internal stakeholders.Build and maintain relationships with internal partners including site selection, strategic engineering, data center design, construction, facility operations, legal and finance.Support issuance of purchase orders and interfacing with internal and external parties to resolve payment issues.Ability to travel internationally, as needed (up to 25%).Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related field.7+ years of relevant work experience in EMEA with a utility, energy project developer, design/consulting firm, construction firm or energy intensive consumer.Working knowledge of transmission, distribution and utility interconnection processes and electrical infrastructure within EMEA.Experience with project development and management for complex, large-scale projects.Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Strong communications skills, and an ability to develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.Experience with waste heat recovery systems and/or battery storage, preferred.Fluency in English is a requirement.
