The customer is based in the Barcelona area (Spain) and San Diego (California, USA) with offices and subsidiaries in more than 40 countries worldwide.
We are therefore looking for an experienced Program Manager based in the Barcelona area (Spain), specialized in international network, security, and infrastructure deployment programs.
The person would report to the customer IT Global PMO Head.ResponsibilitiesOverall program and projects responsibility, usually managing multi-year programs with project members and stakeholders belonging to different areas in an international matrix organization.Reporting line direct to the IT Global PMO Head located in the Barcelona area, with strong interaction with different business key users and process owners.Management of assigned projects including their planning, monitoring, and reporting, based on the PMBok (PMI) as standard PM methodology combined with Scrum/Agile subprojects, using the company's specific processes and tools.Definition of Scope, Deliverables, Risks, Resources, and Budget for its project following the Company IT strategy and needs.Become part of the IT PMO team enforcing the project management methodology and project culture inside the organization.Drive the execution of new network and security infrastructure deployments and implementations on a strong international basis.Work closely and effectively with IT teams, process teams, business stakeholders, and 3rd parties.
Participate in Strategic and transformation projects.Additional supervision, support, and coaching of customer employees on best practices of Project Management and integration.Key Skills and ExperienceSpanish and/or Catalan mother tongue.Fluency in English is mandatory; the interview will be partially in English.BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.More than 10 years leading network and security infrastructure deployment projects, with hands-on experience.More than 15 years working on network and security infrastructure deployment projects.PMP (PMI), PRICE2, and/or PM2 certifications are mandatory.ACP or scrum master certifications are highly valuable.ITIL experience and certification also appreciated.Master in Business Administration is preferred.Previous experience in projects in the industrial sector will be valued.Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with experience in relationships with C-level management.Result and people-oriented, good at time management, stress resilient.Change-adapted mindset, able to organize work with focus on results in a fast-paced change environment.Creates positive impact, can influence using effective relationship skills and foster team collaboration.Experience working in intercultural teams (Europe, Asia, and USA mainly) and ability to empathize with both management and users.Requires extensive knowledge of MS-Office, MS-Project, and Gmail.Immediate incorporation is required.Office located in Barcelona area (Spain), with frequent travels through USA, Asia, and Europe.
