Junior Spacecraft Design EngineerThe candidate would support DEIMOS in several projects regarding the design of various satellite platforms proposing adequate design solutions. In addition, the candidate will participate in the support activities for production and industrialization of the designs and drawings generated.Currently, DEIMOS is working on several projects for ESA and the commercial market to provide cutting edge technologies for earth observation or communication satellites as well as scientific missions.Main Duties:The person in charge of this position would support DEIMOS on the current and upcoming projects regarding design engineering activities for space systems and satellite platforms. Specific areas of work include, but are not limited to, CAD design and drawings generation according to requirements and collaboration on product industrialization.Education:Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Aerospace Engineer; Professional Experience:0-3 years in Aerospace IndustryTechnical Requirements:The candidate must be a motivated design engineer and should have some, but not all, of the skills below:Capable of elaborating complex 3D models using CATIA or other CAD tools.Knowledge of spacecraft mechanical design (product tree, composite structures, tolerances, fixations).Experience of writing relevant design documentation (Design Description reports, ICDs, manufacturing drawings).Detailed knowledge of the systems and subsystems encompassing a spacecraft.Knowledge of mechanical, thermal or propulsion systems among others.Knowledge of New Space approach and techniques.Knowledge of low-level integration and manufacturing techniques.Any of the following skills are desirable:Knowledge of some spacecraft analysis and design tools: NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRAD.Knowledge of MBSE philosophy.Technical writing, including user-facing documentation.Language Skills:English (B2 level as minimum)Personal Skills:Collaborative, trustworthy, open-minded, proactive, original, inquisitive person.HRRECRUIT- 943#J-18808-Ljbffr
