Job Description : Role: Junior Solution Architect Project: Customer Experience (CX) Unit Context: The Junior Solution Architect will work within the Customer Experience (CX) unit of Client, providing consulting and development services to various business areas of Client. The role involves developing solution architectures that align with the client's business objectives while optimizing IT infrastructure and applications. The service provision starts on November 1, 2024, and ends on December 31, 2029. Services Required: The Junior Solution Architect will be responsible for the following services: Solution Development: Develop solution architectures that meet the client's business requirements while optimizing IT infrastructure and applications. Monitor the development of solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Identify technical risks and develop solutions to mitigate them. Document and communicate the solution architecture using standard architectural practices, patterns, and frameworks. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the client's business requirements and are implemented in accordance with the solution architecture. Participate in relevant technical meetings and provide regular updates to the client and other stakeholders. On-Call Duty: Carry out regular on-call duty outside of standard working hours, being reachable at any time and able to begin providing services within one hour of a call to resolve disruptions to the operational process. Direct communication with all Client stakeholders may be required at short notice during on-call duty, particularly in the event of a malfunction. Project Details: Location: The primary place of performance is Germany, with on-site activities as needed. The project involves a mixture of on-site and remote work. The service provision is planned over multiple years with a total planned volume of 220 person-days per year. Technical Requirements: Mandatory: Experience: 2 years of experience in the operation of Oracle databases, including troubleshooting, installation of scripts, failover, and optimizing statistics. 2 years of experience in 24/7 on-call service. Proven experience as a technical product owner for at least one application in the last 2 years. 2 years of experience with Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban. 2 years of knowledge and experience in railway operations. Confidence in dealing with ITIL 4 practices. Language: Project language is German, with a minimum requirement of B2 proficiency or native fluency. Desirable (Should): Additional Skills: Proven experience and knowledge in specific railway operation contexts. Ability to handle technical product ownership with a high level of expertise.
