The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in software quality assurance processes and excel in crafting high-quality test cases for web-based and mobile applications.
Moreover, the candidate must demonstrate outstanding software design and development abilities, exhibit a keen interest in technological innovation, and exhibit a strong drive to learn and adopt new technologies to enhance OmniAccess' software stack.As the software quality assurance engineer, your primary responsibility will involve contributing to the establishment of software testing processes, reviewing and implementing continuous integration (CI) mechanisms for different tools based on testing results and automations, as well as planning, scheduling, implementing, and executing weekly milestone test cases.
You will work closely with the development team and actively participate in the specification, design, testing, and validation processes of our products and services.
Additionally, as part of the development team, you may be involved in time-limited deployments of new products, including field trials and proof-of-concepts in demanding scenarios.Joining our dynamic development team will offer you an exciting opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of our products and services while working in challenging and fast-paced environments.What You Will DoCollaborate with the technical development leader to design, schedule, and implement testing infrastructure and activities for various development projects.Conduct comprehensive testing, primarily automated with minimal manual validations.Design, define, and maintain test plans for different development activities.Collaborate with the core development team to design, specify, implement, and execute test cases and acceptance criteria.Foster a culture of quality within the organization and contribute to a motivated and innovative team environment.Lead release management procedures.Write elegant, efficient, and well-documented code (E2) that is reusable.Maintain and enhance test and continuous integration (CI) frameworks as needed and develop new testing tools.Execute automation scripts for new functionality and regression testing.Define and implement CI procedures, incorporating field trials and pilot validation mechanisms into software development processes.Explore, evaluate, and benchmark new tools.Create technical documentation.Minimum RequirementsWhat we require from youAt least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance testing, preferably with web and mobile applications in the software development domain.At least 1 year of experience in automated testing, including defining test cases and acceptance criteria.Proficiency in implementing, automating, and executing test cases.Passion for technology, with a constant pursuit of excellence and the ability to think outside the box when it comes to product and services definition and framework perspectives.Experience working in agile teams, with knowledge of continuous integration and familiarity with at least one CD/CI framework (preferably Gitlab CD/CI).Proficiency in at least one of the following languages, such as Python or Go, is preferred.Familiarity with web-based and mobile applications, as well as knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js (preferred).Proactive problem-solving abilities, driven by self-motivation.
