What are we looking for Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager in a global team, you will execute the procurement of materials for the different centres of the company, both from internal and external suppliers .
Duties and Responsibilities Launch approved suppliers orders for materials based on planning.
Follow orders until arrival Update orders according to the need Ensure that orders are fulfilled, especially with regard to prices, deadlines and quantities Collaborate with Supply Chain teams in optimizing service, costs and inventories (quality and quantity) Management of service or stock crises Be the point of contact with internal and external suppliers in matters of Supply Chain.
Deadlines, amounts, claims, etc Keep databases up to date with supplier-dependent provisioning parameters (Deadlines, lots, etc.)
Compliance with the company's processes, especially in the field of Supply Chain Participate in the continuous improvement of the Procurement Management and Supply Chain Monitoring of the defined indicators and fulfilment of the objectives set for the Procurement area Minimum requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, industrial or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Planning Excellent negotiation skills and experience negotiating complex contracts in an international business Excellent control of MS Office tools such as Excel and Word Experience in communication and professional management with external suppliers and internal plants Fluent in professional English and Spanish language, both verbal and writen Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Prepared to travel as required to meet with suppliers and internal stakeholders MAXAM is an equal opportunities employer.
