As a Junior/Medior Freight Forwarder you help ensure that goods are transported safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You work with companies, importers, and exporters and support the logistics for transporting goods from A to B. You: handle interactions with existing and new customers, qualify, monitor, and delegate orders for execution; collaborate with internal teams to manage customer portfolios and implement improvements; support the onboarding process for new customers in collaboration with Key Account Managers and operations; contribute to customer satisfaction by providing proactive advice and support; monitor internal data and customer KPIs, offering solutions for continuous improvement; ensure all transport activities comply with laws and regulations (Compliance Management); assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain (Risk Management); ensure administrative processes run efficiently and controlled, contributing to overall success; build and maintain customer relationships to foster beneficial partnerships for both WCSG and customer growth; manage costs by understanding cost structures and negotiating favorable rates and terms.
