We are looking for a talented Junior Lighting & Compositing Artist with enthusiasm to join our great team on the exciting new project, Animated Feature TAD 4!
You will be one of the most important players in the post-production process, being responsible for creating lighting of 3D characters, sets, and props, as well as the composition of images and shots, where the final look of animation really comes together.
First of all, you're probably interested in knowing that we offer 100% remote work!
WE NEED YOU TO BE ABLE TO DO: Create lighting for 3D characters, sets, and props, adding authenticity and ensuring the look is correct.
Light scenes using the provided layouts and briefings, preparing and optimizing scenes for rendering.
Use different light effects depending on the factors in a frame or scene, creating stunning visuals with an ideal atmosphere, tone, depth, and mood, matching with external elements.
Light up the assigned shots, according to the artistic and technical instructions of the Supervisor and Team Lead.
Be responsible for continuity, ensuring art from different sources and different artists looks the same.
Work closely with the FX and Matte Painting departments to help create the final finished product.
Work autonomously and independently in a fully remote environment, with the responsibility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and maintain your own initiative.
Be a great team player, creating a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adhere to the production schedule, and deliver completed assignments on time.
Align with the style and sensibility of the project and the Director's vision.
WE WILL MAKE THE PERFECT MATCH IF YOU HAVE: 1-3 years of professional experience in either animation TV series or feature animation movies.
Expert knowledge of Maya and Nuke.
Strong creative eye for lighting effects, shading properties, and color theory to achieve the desired realism and emotional impact.
Strong sense of composition, perspective, scale, and design theory.
Enthusiasm about the latest techniques, software, and visual trends, especially within the animation industry.
Understanding of techniques and technologies related to CG rendering.
Familiarity with working within a CG pipeline.
Ability to take feedback constructively and implement it effectively to reach the desired quality.
Anticipation and quick reaction for problem-solving.
Demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity in your work.
Great attention to detail.
Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills.
