Junior Legal Counsel - Litigation and Liability Management

About The Role
Fever is looking for a self-composed, resourceful, and highly adaptable junior-mid level legal counsel to join its diverse and high-impact Legal, Governance, Risk and Compliance department. As junior legal counsel you will familiarize yourself closely with Fever's mission and vision, structure, strategy, and objectives, in order to strategically promote and defend Fever's interests in a wide variety of pre-litigation disputes, litigation, and other adversarial proceedings globally. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisers to assess and manage risk, including by ensuring compliance with applicable local rules, laws, and cultural standards. As junior legal counsel, you will work diligently to help guide the company through various legal challenges on the path to responsible and conscientious growth.

Provide support to litigation and liability management department, as well as various business teams, including legal research, analysis and strategy recommendations on a wide range of pre-litigation disputes globally.Work closely with Fever's internal human resources and people management teams to ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international legislation.Support investigation and resolution of claims arising out of Fever's Equal and Fair Workplace Policy. Promote fair and objective conflict resolution to ensure just outcomes for parties involved.Work closely with Fever's liability and crisis management teams to assist in responding to incidents and continuously improve Fever's risk assessment and management policies and procedures.Assist in responding to government audits and other regulatory inquiries.Coordinate and prioritize work with external legal advisors.Draft and review a variety of legal documents to support the work of the legal team.About You
Be a barred lawyer with 1-3 years of PQE, preferably with prior experience in either litigation or labor and employment law, either in a law firm, governmental, corporate, or non-profit setting.Possess exceptional judgment and discretion.Previous experience as an oral advocate, whether in a legal or non-legal setting, is highly preferred.Speak fluent English with a command of legal English. Other languages are a plus.Ability to efficiently distill complex legal problems into succinct, clear and actionable advice.Have excellent legal research and writing skills.Be a highly emotionally intelligent professional and communicator.
