Fever has developed a proprietary technology that inspires a global community of over 125M people through personalized and curated experiences in their local city whilst empowering entertainment and event creators to reach new audiences and enhance their experience.Sounds amazing, right?ABOUT THE ROLEAs Junior Legal Counsel (Expansion and Corporate), you will be supporting the Legal Director - Business & Corporate Dev on Fever's corporate expansion efforts worldwide. You will be a lawyer who is driven, proactive and business-minded, with strong legal skills that allow you to be quick on your feet in understanding and assessing legal obstacles and risks as they may arise in new jurisdictions.You will be based in Madrid, and your day-to-day work will include providing advice on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth and sustained development of Fever. The role will also require the execution of a wide range of legal tasks, working alongside key business leaders against the backdrop of a fast-paced, ambitious expansion.You will be expected to participate in the setting and execution of the company's expansion strategy into multiple countries across all continents. This will entail work in the following areas:Conducting legal research across multiple jurisdictions to provide preliminary analyses of expansion opportunities for Fever's business and possible strategies and structures.Identifying, engaging and working with external legal advisors, PROs and corporate services providers to support Fever's new and existing corporate structure.Drafting and reviewing a range of legal and corporate documents.Keeping up to date on key country trends (politics or key legislation) that may impact expansion into specific countries..Advising on general legal matters related to the company's global operations.Coordinating with internal stakeholders, and practising effective communication to achieve strategic prioritiesTaking responsibility for knowledge management, such as preparation/revision of templates and legal guides, and memos.Participating in ongoing corporate compliance functions as requiredUpskilling, support, and growth of other team membersIn order to be successful in this role, you will be:A barred/practising lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE (experience in Corporate Law a plus)A native English speaker, with fluency in another language, a plus.A creative and practical problem-solver, with a can-do attitude and who is piqued by facing new intellectual challenges and honing their risk assessment and management skills.A team-player and effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
