We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join our team located at La Pobla de Mafumet (Client Site).Responsibilities:Perform and check routine calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple engineering complexity.Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.Assist Lead to develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantity tracking reports.Identify deviations in job scope, estimate magnitude of changes, and initiate trends or change orders.Assist in the review of vendor lists, preparation of quotation requests, bid tabulations, purchase orders, and considerations for substitutions for technical acceptability.Participate in equipment and material procurement activities.Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design.Interface with other discipline functions.Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Acquire knowledge to perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells, and other instrumentation.Acquire knowledge to specify instrumentation.Acquire basic knowledge to create instrument index and datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database.
