But there's more work to be done - that's why we need you to join us.Location: Madrid or ValenciaAs a Junior Grid Engineer,you will be involved in high voltage grid connections, including overhead and underground transmission lines and substations. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the definition of the most optimal interconnection arrangement during the development stage with focus on grid connection aspects and HV infrastructure schemes. Once the project enters execution phase, the junior grid engineer will assist in the detailed engineering from external consultants or contractors.Key activities and responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with external clients, DNOs, TSOs, HV Consultancies and HV contractors.Manage, lead and coordinate shared connection agreements.Supervise and manage third-party engineers or external design services.Attend design review meetings with design contractors, suppliers and consultants.Ensure the issuance of technical specifications of High Voltage electrical components/systems for purchase orders and follow up on the procurement process.Review the pre-construction project package to ensure all contractual requirements are met before the start of construction.Attend, supervise and witness factory inspections and factory acceptance tests.Qualifications:Previous experience with medium and high voltage grid connections, including overhead and underground transmission lines and substations is desirable.Desirable: Basic understanding of the grid connection process in Spain. Basic understanding of Spain's national standards and REE requirements applicable to Grid systems, including but not limited to RAT, RLAT standards, REE Grid Code, NTS, and relative annexes.Fluent in Spanish.Intermediate level of English.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Additional Information:Statkraft's vision is to renew the way the world is powered.
