ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Global Mobility Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the relocation and assignment process for our employees working internationally, also to maintain accurate records of all work permits and visas for employees across the organization, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with local and international immigration regulations. This position requires expertise in immigration, labor, tax, and global mobility policies to ensure a seamless transition and compliance with local regulations. The Junior Global Mobility Specialist must possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. You will be expected to demonstrate ownership and proactivity getting things done in the global mobility team of a global high-growth business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the end-to-end relocation process for employees moving to international locations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees throughout the relocation or assignment process. Proactively address queries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Work closely with the payroll and compensation team to provide accurate guidance in such matters for Managers looking for employees internationally or moving employees to international locations.
Ensure adherence to immigration laws and regulations for international assignments.
Establish and maintain relationships with external providers, such as immigration lawyers and tax consultants, to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee mobility data. Generate reports and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update global mobility policies, aligning them with company objectives, local regulations, and industry best practices.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience, and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the global mobility function.
ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
Have previous exposure or understanding of global mobility, immigration, or HR operations, ideally within an international or multicultural environment.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, International Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Possess a mandatory English level (C1+); other languages will be considered a plus.
Have knowledge of global mobility practices, immigration laws, tax regulations, and international assignment policies.
Be familiar with HRIS systems and proficient in using relevant software tools and applications.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and across cultures.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Possess a problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
Show demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Have advanced knowledge of Excel as a plus.
