Hero Gaming is looking for a Junior Finance Officer!
This role is for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make their mark in the gaming industry. With a foundational understanding of daily operational processes within the finance department, you will work closely with our experienced team and receive mentorship to further develop your skills.
Based in Marbella or Malta, or willing to relocate and become part of a fantastic team, you will be responsible for: General book-keeping duties, including handling aged payables and suppliers The preparation, execution, and posting of bank payments Payment Service Providers (PSPs) reconciliations Preparing information for monthly management accounts and other financial reports Assisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns The ideal candidate will have the right combination of talent, energy, and a commitment to technical excellence. This is what we're looking for : Experience in the iGaming industry it's a plus Hands-on working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & Outlook Good math and analytical skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Knowledge of accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) will be considered an asset. Training will be provided. Experience in finance processes and systems enhancements Ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing priorities and ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliverables Ability to work independently, identify and suggest solutions to challenges, maintain a strong focus on business priorities, and be persistent in follow-through Comfortable working in a team environment Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus Living in Marbella or Malta, or willing to relocate Benefits: Great office environment Regular office celebrations and parties Snacks provided in the office Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays Flexibility and much more Ready to join our journey?
