The Opportunity Gain hands-on experience joining the Energy team being involved in the provision of consultancy services, particularly in relation to decarbonization, energy transition, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
As a Junior Energy Consultant at Arup, you will: Support the team in consulting, advisory, design and planning support services to the main commercial, industrial and institutional clients in Spain and around the world.
Work in a diverse portfolio.
Our scale can go from providing techno-economic studies to help institutions and countries reduce greenhouse gas emissions from harmful pollutants associated with residential heating and assessing how to reduce the overall energy consumption of major airports, to digitally model how the shape, position and number of windows affects comfort within a mosque.
Work closely with the Climate and Sustainability team, providing advisory services for energy modeling, commissioning or construction physics.

We are looking for someone that can support the delivery of a wide range of projects while helping our clients meet their goals and our own commitments to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Ideally, you'll bring: Studies in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
0-3 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
Experience in the use of energy modeling in buildings using specialized software.
Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 level).
Bonus points if you have: International academic or work experience.
Knowledge of building facilities (especially mechanical services/air conditioning).
Experience in leading projects that involve building sustainability certification assessments (BREEAM, LEED), carbon footprints, building energy audits, carbon management services, climate change assessments, transitions to net-zero energy (embodied or net-zero operational buildings), or related services.
