Come and join Drees & Sommer where You Decide!Your ResponsibilitiesHandle and investigate security incidents, including identifying and containing the threat, assessing the impact, and providing recommendations for resolution.Create and update incident handling playbooks to ensure that the organization is well-prepared to respond to security incidents.Finetune SIEM use cases to ensure that the organization is able to detect and respond to security threats in a timely manner.Manage vulnerabilities by conducting vulnerability scans, tracking remediation efforts, and providing recommendations for mitigation.Contribute on risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and support developing recommendations for mitigating identified risks.Assist in conducting security awareness training for employees to ensure compliance with security protocols.Help in the implementation and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.Maintain detailed records of security incidents, changes, and improvements in security posture.Support or define and control hardening guidelines with operation teams to ensure that the organization's systems and applications are configured securely.Ihre ProfilBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3 years of experience in cybersecurity technical roles. Special importance to incident handling.Ability to work in Linux and Windows environments.Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO or BSI (Germany).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work methodically.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
