We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager that will assist in BD and Marketing tasks, building knowledge on the processes and practices in the commercial department and in the power business within TR.
The candidate will work under the supervision of the Commercial Director in developing initial prospects and will be included in a career development plan.
Role description and responsibilities Analyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote engineering, procurement, and construction services for utilities, developers, and infra funds, with a primary focus on Power related technologies and projects.
Examples include: Gas based power plants: experience on gas-based GT and CCGT technologies Zero emissions power plants: including CCS solutions for gas power plants and renewables and circular technologies such as biomass and W2E Assistant technologies for electrification of economies: grid assistance technologies for assisting the penetration of renewables such as inertial synchronous condensers, batteries, and thermal energy storage Contribute in defining TR's value proposition for each opportunity in conjunction with the Power BU Commercial Director. Maintain a top-class and cutting-edge marketing documentation substrate in all commercial aspects. Engage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with clients. Develop relations with key OEMs and maintain relationships and understanding of their technologies and evolutionary plans. Establish TR's positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value and with the Power Proposals' Directors. Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through Salesforce. Background and experience No experience required, but +3 years of relevant experience is valuable. Clear aspiration to become a commercial manager working internationally in the energy/power sector. Inquietude and knowledge about power OEMs, utilities, infra-funds & developers, with a keen attitude to understand market drivers, trends, and players. Eager to develop strategic and analytical thinking. Creative and able to produce high-quality techno/commercial documentation, capable of clearly expressing ideas both verbally and in writing. Passion and understanding of the importance that specific technologies (e.g., CH4 and H2 power generation and CCS) have in supporting the energy transition. Availability for travel, mostly within Europe, America, and the Middle East. Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in industrial engineering.
