Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Junior Business Controller (Hybrid) Full time, Barcelona, Spain Our Junior Business Controller will provide support in month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. In this role, you will be able to take part in different international and functional workgroups and projects. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within a multinational company.
As a Junior Business Controller, you will Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by management Work on temporary projects like aligning the financial reporting between countries Get the chance to start improvement projects where you identify areas where there is room for progress Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information Participate in special projects as assigned About you Degree in Economics with a preferred focus on Controlling or Accounting or equivalent experience Previous hands-on experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably with a focus on controlling, financial analysis, or related areas Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP) Strong command of spoken and written English; Spanish language skills are a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at various levels Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional business environment Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude About us
