About ICAP:ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants. We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds, and Rates. For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades.
Role Responsibilities:Promote TP ICAPEnsure timely input of trades into trading systemsAssistance in the administration of auctionsResolve any trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely mannerIdentify trade opportunities and calculate strategiesKeep trade records up to dateUpdate real-time manual/electronic whiteboards with market dataProvide input on various projects for brokers and tradersProvide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basisMonitor markets and follow financial news and developments Experience / Competences:Understands the markets and has a viewpoint on the economyHardworking with willingness to learn and self-studyFutures experience would be ideal, but we're able to consider different markets exposure/understanding at this timeGood communication skills both written and verbalHandles situations and problems effectively using own initiativeBuild relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possibleDemonstrates ability to work effectively with othersAbility to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situationsWorks ethically and shows respect for both professional and company valuesDemonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goals Company Statement:The TP ICAP Group is committed to promoting Equality and Diversity and encouraging a culture that actively values difference.
