JUNIOR BIM SPECIALIST BIG BCN has experienced remarkable growth, and we are currently looking for an ambitious, talented, and organized Junior BIM Specialist to join our team. As a BIM Specialist, you will be working together with the BIM and DT team on multiple projects and stages. You will be the go-to person for BIM related issues and topics on various projects, in close coordination with the Design Technology Manager. An open and positive attitude to helping out your colleagues is a must, whether it's basic issues or more complex requests and questions. You will also be asked to help with coordination tasks, running clash detection exercises on projects using various methods, as well as helping the teams out with the overall coordination. Whenever you might not be busy with strictly BIM related things, you will be expected to help the team out with general project delivery. You will be reporting to the Design Technology Manager in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities: Drive the BIM efforts in the office across multiple projects in collaboration with the BIM Manager.
Advise and introduce improvements to project teams by sharing expert BIM knowledge.
Establish, develop, and implement design technology workflows within and beyond Revit.
Create and maintain project-specific parametric content.
Actively engage with the project teams to troubleshoot and ensure BIM is used to its full potential.
Take the lead on 3D coordination, interoperability, and other BIM-specific workflows on the projects.
Engage in projects that require advanced modelling techniques and workflows.
Educate staff in Revit and related architectural software.
Actively monitor and streamline Revit models.
Help maintain a positive BIM environment on the project, with a yes-hat attitude to BIM.
