We are seeking a Financial Analyst in Guadalajara. They will be providing comprehensive support across our procurement process, participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, which include preparing journal entries and performing accounting practices aligned with US GAAP standards. The successful candidate will be able to engage in various projects that contribute to the company's financial health and operational success.
Responsibilities:
Support the procurement process, including but not limited to processing and approving purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Review and approve employee expense reports for accuracy and adherence to company policy.
Perform various month-end and year-end accounting close activities, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Ensure financial information and schedules are accurate and maintained in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform various projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
3+ years of relevant accounting experience working for a US company.
Bilingual English/Business Spanish (written and verbal) in a business setting.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in US accounting.
Highly proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software and Concur is a plus.
Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
