Junior Accountant

To fulfill the tasks and challenges you will need to be a team player, with good time management and communication skills that will help to establish strong relationships with internal customers. This position reports to the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Treasury.Main responsibilities:Bookkeeping tasks (General ledger, actuals, depreciation, intercompany, AP&AR, Banking)Prepare periodic closings and the Year End closing and reports for the legal entitiesPrepare periodic review of the intercompany and bank reconciliationsPrepare Statutory accounts for the legal entities, including support to the external auditsPrepare VAT, Withholding and Corporate Tax returnsSupport the Accounting Team and the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Treasury in other related tasksYour Profile:Qualified accountant: accounting and finance degree preferredIdeally between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the accounting and reporting related tasks in an international environmentExcellent knowledge of MS Office and ExcelKnowledge of reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP and/or Sage) is a plusHigh integrity, credibility, trustworthiness and professionalismStrong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detailsStrong and motivated team playerStrong analytical skillsProactive, hands-on, and independent working stylePositive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learnInterest in technology and willingness to understand the technical landscapeFluency in Spanish and English language.
