Learn more: JTI Strategic Supplier Manager What this position is about Purpose: Strategic Suppliers and Software Asset Management will focus on strategic vendors to maximize value creation and minimize enterprise risk.
The main responsibilities will be: To orchestrate the supplier relationship to ensure that what is promised is delivered, on time, on budget; and track, monitor and mitigate vendor risk.
To be responsible for the Digital and Information Technology Strategic Suppliers model, actively participating in the contract management and supporting Global Procurement in the negotiations.
This includes minimizing risks and maximizing the value of the Strategic Suppliers through a proper governance framework in order to sustain JTI values.
What will you do Responsibilities: You will participate in the completion of the overall framework around strategic suppliers for Digital and Information Technology and in the selection process of strategic supplier classification scope (segmentation), using principles, guidelines and exception procedures.
In collaboration with Strategic Suppliers and Software Asset Management colleagues, you will be responsible for defining suppliers governance model, finalizing and rolling out the processes for Contract Deliverable Extractions, KPI's and SLA's definition, Customer/Supplier surveys definition.
Together with the Technology Leadership team, you will evaluate, assess and make decisions to continue working with the strategic supplier or remove them out of the pool of strategic suppliers.
You will drive Strategic Partner strategy and ensure Stakeholders adherence, adding monitoring of the strategy.
You will work closely with D& IT service owners and Strategic Supplier to ensure proper visibility of our current and future initiatives, opportunities, and improvement areas.
You will drive cost optimization by negotiating when contract renewals will take place.
You will act as middle-(wo)man between internal stakeholders and suppliers, supporting/ advising IT functions regarding ad hoc contractual questions.
You will act as a single point of contact for audit and escalation processes.
You will monitor Supplier Service Contracts and manage Supplier Performance review (QBR) ensuring that the set of services from a supplier meets an organization's goals in an effective and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring contract data (terms and desirables), proactively improving contract terms and desirables, and identifying opportunities to improve future contracts.
You will be accountable for high value/high importance global D& IT contracts to ensure that they preserve JTI's interest while being in conformance with laws and regulations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that contracts with third parties are delivering the expected value for money, service quality, and flexibility requirements, as well as protecting JTI's interests and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulations.
You will also work in close cooperation with IT service owners to formalize requirements and drive contract negotiations.
Who are we looking for Requirements: Business administration, computer science or IT related degree (Bachelor or Masters level).
7 to 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, global category management, complex procurement contracting and operational category efficiency projects.
5 years of experience in Vendor Management in IT function or Procurement IT.
Full English proficiency.
Excellent Microsoft O365 knowledge.
Proficiency in Excel.
Proficiency in Vendor and Relationship Management.
Experience in Analytical tools.
Desired knowledge of IT software/SAAS/PAAS category and market key players.
Strong experience with major software publishers' licensing schemes (SAP, Oracle, MS, etc.).
Very Good Understanding of principles of Procurement processes, Supplier Relationship Management and Vendor Management.
IT operational and service management background.
Able to build compelling business cases.
Leadership of large-scale contract negotiations, involving setup, analysis of positions, development of Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA).
Experience in resolution of contractual disputes.
Commercial experience in drafting robust contracts covering pricing, SLA, penalty regime, clearly defined deliverables, transition and exit statements.
Good legal skills.
Knowledge and compliance requirements related to GDPR and data protection laws.
Excellent Knowledge of IT software/SAAS/PAAS category and market key players.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate and interact with different layers of organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong Negotiation skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work pro-actively, virtually and face-to-face in group settings.
Practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks, working in an international environment.
Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
